Where does our leather come from? We have leathers from all over the world, primarily Germany, South America and our own waters too, true blue Australian leather.
What is our style? Sustainable use with an emphasis on raw design. Moving back to basic cuts and techniques, keeping life simple and realistic. It's designed for your every day, every travel, every adventure. Designed to throw your life into, and head out the door.
Cuts? Our weekender bag is designed to sit cross body with x 3 external pockets. It also doubles as a unique and epic baby bag. The pockets are read for your go to pieces and the style will have you travelling like a queen with style.
Our Poppins Bag is our basic go to oversize everyday style. Each is a box shape with an emphasis on a big tote. Dependant on the colour, the weights of the leather differ, making each colour and style different.
Our totes are simple, perfect compact bags. Big enough for small laptops, books and your every day items, they are the perfect small work like or study bag.
The bucket bag is designed to sit cross body with a tote size handle to ensure there is no digging into your shoulders. With no eyelets and pure leather format, these bags are durable and invincible and can be folded or rolled up easily to travel with.
Commonly asked questions? Here we go..
Where are they made? Each piece is hand made on the Mornington Peninsula, about an hour south of Melbourne, Australia. They are hand cut and then stitched and all our raw edge clutches come from our off cuts of the hides to ensure there is no wastage in our leathers.
What are the markings that might be on my item? To ensure that we have no wastage we use the entire hide and this includes natural markings on the hide, from scar tissue to colour movement, it's all natural and we love each piece even more for it. This means that each item is totally unique. Each item is checked and ensured that the markings are natural and that there is no damage where they have occurred, so for this reason, items are non-refundable for markings or scar tissue as this is part of the design aesthetic.
How long until I get my item? Patience is a virtue, but even we can be greedy at the best of times. Please allow 7-10 working days for your item to be shipped, remembering that each item is made to order and hand made, and as much as we like to feel like super heroes on the best of days, we aren't robots! So much love is poured into making our products, and this means taking time and care in the process.
Can I have a custom order? We love to see what ideas our clients have in mind for us to make and design. Just send us an email with your requests and we will try above and beyond to see what we can do for you. If we can help, great! If not, we can always help to point you in the right direction or help design something a bit different to suit your needs.
What can I have personalised? You can have whatever you like personalised, but please remember that each letter is individually hand stamped and this means that longer phrases are done as neatly as possible, but beautiful movements can be found. We have stamped names, birthdays, even entire quotations. It's totally up to you!
What will it look like? It is a raw stamp, so it is essentially stamped into the leather with capital lettering only.
How much does personalising cost? IT'S FREE. That's right, our second favourite f word. Free.
I'd like to change my mind, but my item is personalised. Sorry, but if we personalise your item, unless it is damaged upon arrival there is no returns. Once it is stamped, it's yours for the keeping!
I'd just like to swap it over for something else? You've got 7 days to change your mind, and then you'll need to post it back to us, we will review it and make sure that it is completely unused and that there is no damage to the item, and then you may be given a credit note for the store or exchange it for a different item to the same or lesser value.
